Leslie Locke Ceiling Fans

Leslie-Locke is a manufacturer of home products that at one point imported and relabeled ceiling fans. Leslie-Locke fans were very similar to Evergo and Envirofan. Most had a cast iron or cast aluminum motor housing. Some models were labeled "Play-It-Again-Sam". They made a model based on the Hunter Original ceiling fan with a fully cast motor housing, however the Leslie-Locke version had a unique dual-pullchain variable speed control that was subject to breaking if handled roughly. As always with imported fans, capacitors and pullchains are the most likely parts to need replacing (see capacitor and pullchain sections) and as with all older fans, with age and use the bearings may become dry or dirty and require oiling or replacement, see oiling section.
